Hey everyone,

So as it's my last day of work placement I am really looking forward to having a bit more time to focus on this blog and other projects. Galway should be buzzing this year with the Volvo Ocean Race final as well as our usual summer staples such as Galway Races and not to mention the Arts Festival. Lets hope the weather picks up a bit!

Anyways, I got a text last week from Orla Moore, Fashion Tutor in GTI, telling me that her stepson Jordan Edmnds Moore, a student in Limerick School of Art & Design, has won the Triumph Inspiration Award for Ireland. I was already familiar with the competition having seeing clips of it on Xpose, it's very innovative and a great platform for any aspiring designer, so I decided to have a look ... and here is his winning design.

Jordan's futuristic design "The Rorschach Test" is based on the psychological inkblot test. His interpretation of this into lingerie is pretty amazing don't you think? It won't be long before Lady GaGa is wearing this!

Jordan will represent Ireland against 30 other national winners in the finals in Shangai later this year.
The theme for the competition is ‘Dragons and Butterflies’ which was selected in honour of the location for the final.
